Grouping Screen Elements

Screen elements may need to be grouped when Newlook cannot determine which entry field is to receive field choice values or when field choice descriptions are not automatically identified and they span multiple lines containing intervening screen elements.

To group two or more screen elements, complete the following steps:

Open the relevant screen in Identify () . For information on confirming the screen ID, click here.
Select the screen element(s) to be grouped.
Right-click on the selected items and select Group Field Category from the context menu.

To remove the grouping of two or more screen elements perform the following steps:

Open the relevant screen in Identify () . For information on confirming the screen ID, click here.
Select a screen element that forms part of a group. Grouped elements are surrounded by a rounded rectangle when selected.
Right-click on a selected item to display the Field Category context menu.
Select the Ungroup Fields menu item. Newlook will subsequently remove all rounded rectangles from each screen element in the group.
