The application includes built-in integration
with Microsoft Office desktop suite, document management
and
web-based applications like MapQuest. Integration
examples include automated production of exception
letters, project data export to Excel and cost analysis
charting in Excel.
NewVision also uses Smart Client deployment technology to reduce deployment costs and complexity. Application enhancements are released quarterly and made available across the web. Smart deployment informs business users when updates are available. ACS customers have been able to take advantage of NewVision's Smart Client deployment without having to change existing infrastructure.
The application also uses programmatic control of the green screen presentation layer to consolidate information from related host screens into intuitive tabs.
