looksoftware announces Version 9 of its dynamic modernization suite

Melbourne, Australia – September 12, 2007. looksoftware announces Version 9 of it’s dynamic, on-the-fly modernization suite.

Highlights include:
- a revamped developer interface,
- support for Master Pages
- a new smartnav UI control
- more AJAX support
- BLOB support and testing
- change control enhancements.

Version 9 offers a single, integrated environment focussed on the ‘on-the-fly’ delivery of new System i solutions by reusing existing applications. Marcus Dee of looksoftware said, “Our business is all about reuse. Some System i shops are mainly concerned with front-end modernization, whilst for others, service-enablement of their back-end System i applications is the priority. With Version 9 you can do both - supported in a single, integrated environment and now with support for Master Pages, it provides the rich UI delivery required for composite applications.”

Version 9 beta is expected by end 2007 with general availability in Q2 next year.
