i Believers spread the word on the success of IBM i
The inaugural i Believe event in Anaheim demonstrated exactly why the IBM i platform remains the world’s best application server.
The one-day seminar was characterized by the enormous positivity amongst the IBM i community and provided participants with a greater appreciation of the many ways that the platform matches the needs of modern businesses.
The outstanding list of speakers comprised Frank Soltis, Jon Paris, Brendan Kay, Alison Butterill, Susan Gantner and Trevor Perry. They delivered sessions ranging from an examination of the history, present and future of the platform, to practical suggestions on how to delight users and management alike. The speakers participated in an open Q&A session in the afternoon, and were all firm in their convictions that the IBM i remains the finest application server in the world.
As disclosed during the event itself, the IBM i platform has grown over the last 4 quarters in both revenue and number of servers. Whilst providing a rock-solid basis for so many businesses world-wide, the platform continues to lead the industry with innovative solutions based on proven foundations.
Frank Soltis also showed that the architecture of the IBM i platform and it’s inherent integration capability is a big part of the IBM i legacy, which is only now being achieved by other systems that aspire to the power of i.
